Call for Submissions: Spring Photo Contest

Spring has come, and new life teems all around us. In the spirit of the vitality of spring, Photo Services is sending out a call for photographs that express the theme of growth.

Contest Rules

  1. Photographs will be judged on aesthetic quality, originality, and on execution of the theme.
  2. Photographs may be submitted in either of two categories: Photo-manipulations and Collages, or Traditional Film and Digital. To be considered as an entry under Traditional Film and Digital, no significant modifications to the photograph may be made.
  3. Photographs are to be submitted either as a file in JPEG format at least 1600 × 1200 pixels in size, or as a print larger than 5″ × 7″.
  4. Each entrant is limited to three submissions.
  5. All entries are due by 6:00pm on April 25th.

Photographs may be submitted to the Media House (on the corner of 13th and Alder), or e-mailed to photoservices@ups.edu. Prizes will be awarded for first and second place in each category, and the winners’ photographs will be exhibited. Any questions may be directed to Nick Kiest [email].
