Emily Miller is a goofy girl who loves the language of jazz. She thinks that if everyone had a little more of that jazzy good mood in their lives, the world would be a better place, and participating in UJ is a great way to spread that love and passion that comes with jazz.

Emily is a music education major at UPS for the same reason--there is nothing better that she can imagine than being a part of the spread of music and the endless positive results of it in our schools. She espcecially enjoys punks in a class who are there for an easy A and think they hate music. Bring it on. High school experiences with jazz choir, showchoir, and one incredible teacher have been a huge part of her inspiration.

With groovy parents and a rockstar of a little brother, Emily has had awesome support through the years from the fam. Along with friends, she enjoys playing outside like a kid. Eating is also a key activity for Emily, especially when chocolate or spaghetti are involved in very large quantities.
Emily does not like being too much of a girl, or too much of a grown-up.
