A Vocal Jazz fanatic, Andrew has participated in UJ since his freshman year in the Fall of 2000, and has lead it for the past two years in which, under his leadership, it has grown from a small group of students who have wanted to sing vocal jazz to more than 30 singers respected as the elite acappella and jazz singers of the UPS community. His extensive knowledge of both vocal jazz and college acappella music has given a vision to UJ which will carry on after this, his last semester at UPS.

In UJ, Andrew's unique voice has allowed him to sing everything from soprano to vocal bass, and even a little vocal percussion. Besides being a jazz nerd, Andrew is a Classics major in the Honors program, sings in the Adelphians, participates in Chamber music, is the Northwest Sounds programmer for ASUPS, and a proud member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity and Greek Life on the whole. He enjoys everything sitting around playing video games with his friends, watching Southpark, listening to Neo-Soul music like Erykah Badu and D'Angelo on his mp3 player, shopping in the mall and going to the bars with his frat bros. He would like to thank his "family" in the frat and all his brothers, his friends, his family and of course his dogs!
