Alternative Spring Break

launched its inaugural trip this past March, offering a new choice to the UPS student community of activities over spring break.  This pilot project took seven students and the Associate Dean for Student Services to Ashland, Oregon, to fully immerse in the dynamic culture of live theater.  After viewing six theatre productions, five independent films, touring the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and exploring the artistically-rich Ashland, the group returned to campus enlightened and ready to share their experiences of the Shakespeare Festival and other independent theatre via an open campus presentation and this website.
