When do I need to use my credentials?

Whenever you see a lock icon next to a link , you should be prepared to use your PUGETSOUND user name and password (e.g., "JoeLogger@PugetSound.edu" and your password) unless you're already logged in. This allows us to make sure that only authorized members of the University can access certain pages of our web site.

What do I do if my credentials are rejected?

First, verify that you're typing the correct user name and password. Your user name should be in the format UserName@PugetSound.edu (e.g., "JoeLogger@PugetSound.edu"). Please note that this is not case sensitive. Your password, however, is. If you believe that you've forgotten your password or there's a problem with your account, please contact the OIS Help Desk to have your password reset.
